(Para 20 tajadas)
Ingredientes
- 2 tazas de harina cernida
- 2 cucharillas bicarbonato de soda
- ½ cucharilla sal
- ½ cucharilla canela molida
- ¼ cucharilla clavo de olor molido
- 1 taza pasas de uva sin semillas
- 1 taza frutas confitadas (si quieren)
- 1 taza nueces picadas
- ½ taza mantequilla o margarina
- 1 taza azúcar granulada
- 2 huevos
- 1 cucharilla esencia de vainilla
- 1 ½ tazas de puré de manzanas
Preparacion
lº — Cernir juntos, harina, bicarbonato, sal, canela y clavo, sacar media taza de esta harina, para mezclar con las pasas de uva, frutas confitadas y nueces.
2º — Poner en una fuente la mantequilla o margarina, suavizar hasta que esté cremosa, agregar el azúcar, huevos, esencia de vainilla y puré de manzana. Mezclar muy bien e ir añadiendo poco a poco la harina cernida con bicarbonato y finalmente las pasas, frutas confitadas y nueces mezcladas con la media taza de harina; mezclar hasta que no queden grumos.
3º — Forrar un molde con dos o tres hojas de papel sábana enmantequillado o papel mantequilla (esto porque es largo el cocimiento y para evitar que se doren mucho el fondo y los lados) echar la mezcla, tapar también con hojas de papel y hornear a fuego suave por una hora y media, hasta que punzando con un cuchillo este salga limpio, o si sale con algo adherido, todavía necesita un poco más.
Horno con grados Fahrenheit 325°.
Horno con grado centígrados 168°.
Horno a leña, kerosene o gas, suave el mismo tiempo.
El puré de manzanas puede ser de lata o hacer en casa, cocinando las manzanas peladas y sin semillas en poca agua, ya cocidas pasar por tamiz. Con seis manzanas tienen la taza y media que se necesita.

@SeanPLynch Yeah I was also thinking about that, the drone threat can be mostly protected against with drone nets, but those missiles are the real issue, wondering if patriots defending just this line would be able to take them down, if the drones didn't swarm them.

If Iran can strike Israel with missiles, then this canal will do nothing to open the strait. You'd be better off building rail lines on land through Iraq or Saudi Arabia. The rails are easier to repair after missile attacks.
However, if they tell investors that they'll use AI to secure it, they'll be able to raise $3 or $4 Trillion in a couple of weeks!
Likely pipelines would be the preferred short/mid-term solution.
