En Bolivia la tradición se funde con la alimentación para expresarse durante la Semana Santa como una extraordinaria simibiosis que seduce a los paladares más exigentes. La devoción en esos días incluye sabores de una deliciosa variedad. Dice la tradición que se deben cocinar y comer 12 platos para rememorar la presencia de Jesucristo reunido con sus 12 apóstoles en la Cena del Señor. Así, estas costumbres son una manera de degustar de sabrosos platos típicos, propios de estas fechas religiosas. Estos manjares carecen de carne roja. El historiador costumbrista Antonio Paredes Candia sostiene que antiguamente se hacían estos platos como una forma de compartir con la familia y los amigos pues todos participaban en la elaboración.
Entre estos platos podemos citar la sopa de papa pica, sopa de escariote, sajta de papaliza, ch’uma de lacayote, carbonada, revuelto de achojcha, pescado (trucha, sábalo, surubí, pejerrey), pejtu de habas, ají de poroto, ají de huevos, ají de arvejas secas, lagua de choclo, queso humacha, espagueti de camarones, sopa de pan, arroz con leche, nogada de bacalao, humintas, ají bacalao (guiso preparado con cebolla y tomate), guiso de cochayuyo (alga del lago Titicaca), ají de papalisa , el peske de quinua, papas a la huancaína, bacalao a la vizcaína, el caldo o chupe de camaroncillo, pejerrey, locro (sopa) de zapallo, sopa de verduras, chuma y relleno de achojcha, entre otras variedades.
Se acostumbra invitar a la mesa de “Jueves Santo”, a familiares y amigos que puedan compartir los doce platillos tradicionales, no sin antes servirse una copita de vino dulce que representa la sangre de Jesucristo.
Igualmente es costumbre en esta epoca servirse un delicioso desayuno acompañado con pan dulce que lleva ajenjo.

If Iran can strike Israel with missiles, then this canal will do nothing to open the strait. You'd be better off building rail lines on land through Iraq or Saudi Arabia. The rails are easier to repair after missile attacks.
However, if they tell investors that they'll use AI to secure it, they'll be able to raise $3 or $4 Trillion in a couple of weeks!
Likely pipelines would be the preferred short/mid-term solution.
